Our Story
The concept for Book In Ireland was born in 2019 when a guesthouse owner in Kinsale, Co. Cork asked founder Walter Ryan-Purcell why there wasn't an Irish booking platform with reasonable commissions. That question sparked a mission to create a platform that puts Irish hospitality first — connecting travellers directly with accommodation providers, restaurants, and activity operators across all 32 counties. Book In Ireland launched in 2025 with a simple promise: book direct and save.
